Our Story
Bringing the purity, culture, and craftsmanship of the Himalayas straight to your doorstep.
Who is a 'Pahadokaraahi'?
In the Kumaoni and Garhwali dialects of Uttarakhand, "Bhula" means younger brother. Pahadokaraahi was born out of this sense of siblinghood and community. We are a bridge connecting the hardworking farmers, weavers, and craft artisans residing in remote Himalayan valleys with households across India.
The mountains are rich in resources—from therapeutic forest herbs and hand-milled spices to the finest organic wild honey and handloomed sheep wool. However, due to geographical remoteness and a lack of market access, local artisans have struggled to earn sustainable livelihoods.
We seek to change this by establishing a fair-trade, direct-to-consumer ecosystem. We cut out middlemen and pay our artisan partners up to 70% of the sale value directly, supporting self-reliance and helping preserve age-old traditions.
